Funding Support
We want to do everything we can during this difficult time to help support our community. Please be reassured that help will be available from the County to support your unit and strive to ensure every girl and young woman in Glasgow can participate in Girlguiding. In the interim, please utilise the Girlguiding Glasgow Opportunities Fund for any imminent cash flow challenges. Please click here or use the link below to download an application.

Girlguiding Glasgow is committed to supporting units now and in the months ahead as we emerge from the Covid-19 pandemic and has been committed to ensuring that no unit found themselves in financial hardship. A fund has been established for units to seek support to ensure core Girlguiding can be maintained. This fund can be accessed by any unit to assist and support the unit with essential running costs which might be too much for unit funds to bear just now.

Give Go Grow – At Home Edition
As you may know, to celebrate our Centenary this year we had asked the guides to take on several challenges and work towards their Give Grow Go badge to mark the occasion. We wanted to continue with the Girlguiding Glasgow Give, Grow, Go badge and so have pulled together some suggestions for activities the guides can do to earn their badge at home. We are excited to bring an exciting weekly programme of videos to support members to achieve 100 points to complete our County Challenge! Each Monday a new challenge video will be uploaded to our Girlguiding Glasgow YouTube channel. This resource is extremely flexible and can be used as part of your unit weekly zoom meeting or if you are able you could considering posting the link in your closed unit Facebook group or parents WhatsApp. The resources can be used at any time and family and friends can join in the fun!
