Girlguiding Glasgow members are regularly invited to events & attractions for reduced rates. This page will be updated regularly.

Remember, you must inform your commissioner if you chose to take your unit to any of these and the relevant permission forms must be completed.

Tickets to see Taken – a new Irish boy band.

Suitable for members over 10 years old.

We’ve been offered free tickets to see an up & coming band at their concert in Glasgow on the 7th April. Units are invited to take girls aged 10+ to what should be a great concert.

Background:
TAKEN moved to London at the start of 2016. Last October they Sold out The Olympia Venue in Dublin and in June, sold out the 02 Forum in London. They recently toured The UK with Bars & Melody, Jack & Jack and last year opened for acts like Stereokicks & Jacob Whitesides. In June they toured The UK & Europe with Kian & JC. In October they toured The UK & Europe with The Janoskians and recently just finished a UK tour with Union J.

The team at Thaikhun love to either come in to units or have units visit their restaurant at Silverburn so we could do some demos and educate the children on Thai food, culture and cooking.
