Thanks to everyone who attended the Division Meeting on 1st February – it was good to see some new faces. Notes from the meeting will be emailed out later this week – it would have been sooner but I am having technology issues at the moment!

Next month, instead of a business meeting we will be having a Division night out on Saturday 11th March. We are planning to go for a meal, and the most popular suggestion for a venue was the Nakodar Grill in Annfield Place, just off Duke Street in Dennistoun. If you could please let me know as soon as possible whether or not you can come along, I will book a table and send round more information.

Can I remind District Commissioners and those working on the Adult Leadership Qualification to sign up for the Regional Training Day on 18th March if you can, and wish all those going to the Thinking Day event on 18th February a wonderful time.

Meantime I hope to see some of you at the Safe Space training on 11th February.

Happy Thinking Day!

Could I remind everyone to please check their subscription invoices as changes will not be permitted to GO records after noon on the 7th March. Invoices will be available for downloading and paying from the 9th March. Please do not worry if you are unsure how to make necessary changes just give me a call and we will get it sorted.

Did you have a Guiders warrant recorded on GO? if so as part of a data cleansing exercise you will have been allocated the LQ modules 1-3/4. Can all guiders therefore please check their qualifications and advise me of any corrections/omissions.

Our next Division Meeting will be held on Monday 20th February, in Croftfoot Church Halls at 8.00pm. It would be useful if each unit can be represented as we have quite a full agenda.

Enjoy your Thinking Day Celebrations and remember to post some pictures on our Division Facebook Page so we can all see what you are doing and share in the fun. If you are attending the County Celebration on Saturday 18th February, I hope to see you there.

West Division

Just a wee reminder to get census money into the Division by 28th February to allow me to bank it and send off our payment on time.

Our Division Meeting is on Tuesday 14th February in Drumchapel St Andrews.

We are planning on having a Division Social at the beginning of June. We are looking to book BP Hall and get caters in. We were thinking of a lunch and it will be on a Sunday. If you would like to attend please let me know.

Reminder annual accounts will be due for end March 2017. I will look to take them from the beginning of May. If you are having trouble with them please let me know and I will give you a hand.
