Glasgow is one of the largest counties in Scotland with over 3,000 members. Our Headquarters building is in Elmbank Street right in the centre of the city. This building is used for meetings, trainings and social occasions and also stores materials and equipment to borrow as well as providing storage for Scottish Archives.
Glasgow County has a beautiful Campsite and Brownie House at Gartocharn with views over Loch Lomond. It is used throughout the year for camps, pack holidays, unit outings and fun days. Please see our residential pages for more information.
Glasgow County is administered through the County Executive which is made up of the County Commissioner, 2 Assistant County Commissioners, 8 Division Commissioners, Advisers and appointment holders. The 8 Divisions are sub divided into districts. More detail can be found on the Division page or by contacting us.
Glasgow product a monthly newsletter which is sent out to all Guiders within the county. You will find the current newsletter as well as all our back dated copies since the website went live.
